Who Are Carnelian?

Nina cut her singing teeth playing to packed houses in London and Chicago, where she played at the legendary Green Mill with multiple Grammy Nominated singer Kurt Elling’s Quartet. Her songs have found airplay on the BBC, as well as old friend and musical comrade Jamie Cullum’s radio show.

Simon has played in a variety of groups over the years and is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and producer in his own right.

He has recorded and/or collaborated with amongst others Flight From The Dark, Blue In Green, Vic Spanner, Mahatma, and Rhomboid Mane.

In 2003 they joined forces and began a journey that has taken them on a few detours along the way.

They have supported Midge Ure, Madelleine Peyroux, and Circulus, and have built up a dedicated following earned by their wonderful live performances.
